Re: Titan 20270 GPS kitchen

lot's of work was done on dialers to fix them, give them a try and let us know. also, I am working on some skins for the stock dialer, so that all stock functionality will be retained.

Which dialers were updated so we know which to test?

Re: Titan 20270 GPS kitchen

Updated to the newer files for 20270 from 20226. Seems like a beautiful ROM, but some trouble with some programs not opening and giving "Certificate" message:
Phone profiles, or Scenarios.exe Seems like the .exe is bad, or dlls.
SPBScreenshot Edit: Oh. I guess I still need the file in the first post for this one. Edit: Nope, that's been fixed. .exe is OK. Link is bad. Recreating link via Total Commander and overwriting link in Start Menu/Programs is the fix.
New Menu for WM5 Edit: Conflict between WM5NewMenu and Soft Keys? Fixed by reassigning in SoftKeys and soft reset.

The non-working programs (Edit: only Phone Profiles, now) are not as annoying to me as the icon for Phone profiles in the tray, which I can't remove because I can't open the program to tell it not to put it there. I hate the wasted space of the tray. I use cLaunch like a tray, and put what I want in there.
Edit: Changed Registry key for HKLM\...\ScenariosOption\Showicon from 1 to 0. Got rid of Tray icon AND TRAY.
Used a cab for the iPhone dialer rather than OEM, but looks good, and ##778# works.

Re: Titan 20270 GPS kitchen

hmmm, looks like bluefrog big button has some skin issues, other than that, I have a bunch of skins for the stock dialer in the upgrades section. they are only graphics, so ##codes and data arrows work like stock.

Re: Titan 20270 GPS kitchen

afaik, most of the dialers were skins for the big button dialer and therefore where not working which is why i have been trying to figure out which dialers were fixed to work correctly (besides the iphone dialer, we all know that one by now). I dont want to go through and flash 10 times with 10 different dialers just to find out. the dualtouch was working and now isnt and the vogue dialer says it was fixed but has anyone tried it?

Re: Titan 20270 GPS kitchen

Yeah I used the vogue for a couple of days and it worked ok. An ugly dialer to me though and the smart-dialing didn't seem to work that well. I am with you guys I just want to know which ones do and do not work.

Dan I tried one of your skins. It makes the dialer look a lot better, thank you very much for your efforts. But, it's kind of like putting a bag over an ugly girls head. It looks better but you still don't enjoy it as much. Anyway, maybe a few more dialers will become more compatable because I am really liking the ROM.

Re: Titan 20270 GPS kitchen

I've been using poorlyduck's PDS dialer for my last several builds and it has worked fine for me. I have noticed my data arrows have been satying on and not greying out on this build though. Not sure about ##codes though since i dont use them...

Now I have run into an issue with MMS not working. I can not send or recieve. As soon as I hit send a error message immediatly pops up saying "Unable to send your message. Your message will remain in the drafts folder." I've checked the MMS settings and everything seem to be right... Anyone able to help me out here?

Who is your carrier? If it is Verizon I can give you all the settings to get it working.

Re: Titan 20270 GPS kitchen

I should add that I tried dciNobar again, and thought it was working, but once the tray activated, I could tell it was still messed up. The space where the soft key labels go is not really fully available and free in all cases.
But so far, I am very pleased with this build, and I packed my ROM to within about 2 Mb of capacity.
