hey guys, on cooking a rom, i keep getting error message "error building default.hv and user.hv", can i get little help with this issue?

It is a bad OEM somewhere.....what all are you selecting......

I got that yesterday too. I think it was the Vogue keyboard. I know it was one of the keyboards but I am not at my home PC to tell you exactly which one.

When I build in DCD.s kitchen I just do not run that OEM.....it is easy to find.....it will error on screen before the default and user hv comes up.....it is easier to eliminate and fix it after the fact....there are threads on here on how to build OEM files....

Is it just new titlebar connection icons or is my evdo really not idling?
The arrows used to grey out after like 30 seconds and now they don't.
I have all the same settings and MS Direct Push off so I'm not sure whaat's going on here exactly.

I could be wrong but it sounds as though they may still be in the process of updating the RAR....along with some other dialers....

It is the dialer...i was told it is a common issue with dialers ported from GSM to CDMA (our phones from sprint, verizon, etc use CDMA). The dialer does not know how to handle the icon...so it nevers grays out...but the connection is idle even thougth to icon is active.
hope it helps...
BTW, my battery seems to be the same with the icon being like this...
needless to say...i dont like it either...hope someone can find the cause of it...the best dialers always pop-up from the GSM version...
