Re: Linux/Android working on Titan
by the time this gets fully functional on the Titan, it will be time to upgrade to a newer phone, which will in turn have to be looked at and tweaked further to make Android work perfectly on it again... sigh...

I got android to load up but the screen is locked. It says Press MENU button to unlock. I have pressed every button but it will not unlock.

MENU = left arrow+M at the same time on the keyboard.

Re: Linux/Android working on Titan
i have not yet figured how to make calls but i can receive calls. the screen is disabled while in calls and if you touch the screen it says something like screen disabled while in call please use track ball. i was able to (with a little key mashing activate the speaker but it doesn't actually work but it says its on.
android1.JPG android2.JPG MY HOOD! android3.JPG MENU! so i was able to call out by calling back one of the numbers that called me. Last edited by darryldowey; 08-27-2008 at 01:21 AM. |

Re: Linux/Android working on Titan
Looks like a step up, however, mine stuck at the glowing robot screen. It receives calls but then a message box pops up saying android.process.shared has stopped unexpectedly. It cannot hang up calls either.
edit: it turns out something went wrong during decompressing the .gz files. I decompressed them on my desktop and copy the .img files onto the SD card. Now it works. Last edited by drummania; 08-28-2008 at 09:41 AM. |
