Re: New Official Sprint ROM (3.56, radio 3.42.20)

Had posted this question on another thread and got no response. What app or registry tweak are you guys using for listening to music through a mono BT headset? I WAS using Bad sector's ID transfer app with the audio gateway program to both hear my incoming ringtones and music through my mono BT headset. I tried installing both after the update and it gave me rolling reboots. Had to hard reset in order to fix it.

I'm scared to try again for fear of it happening again, which brings me to my next question. Which backup prog works best with the new ROM? Heard SPB 2.0 but you have to change some settings? Or Sprite?

And do they do FULL backups of like all your installed apps/settings too, or just the basics like contacts, emails, and standard phone settings?

I use Destination Gotland Bluetooth. It worked with my MDA, 8525, and now my Mogul. Find it here: http://rapidshare.com/files/23689111...Mono_Sound.cab I do not have 3.56 ROM but I see no reason why it wouldn't work with it.

Re: New Official Sprint ROM (3.56, radio 3.42.20)

i have to admit i was worried about trying this out. it works great! can't complain! the telenav is very fast now! overall it seems to use less memory too! will follow up on some of the installs conflicts (if any) later. update your mogul today!

Re: New Official Sprint ROM (3.56, radio 3.42.20)

I installed it on, but I did have some trouble with some apps installing. The newest HTC home customizer, S2U2, custom dialers, etc. just wouldn't work for me. I eventually removed it and just through DCD's 3.2.0 rom for right now.

I had a phone with the leaked rom and got a replacement for it through Asurion. I updated to this official HTC release and when I tried restoring with SPB Backup it said that it was a different rom. I went ahead and proceeded with the restore and the phone didn't act the same in some applications. Beejive would give me a system error and Skyfire would give me a connection error. I tried restoring several times and even tried another backup but still the same issue. Also noticed when using Touchpal when creating new SMS, if I type a name with this ROM the name list are actually now on top of the Start bar. The leaked ROM would place the name list under the Start bar making it difficult or impossible to select a name. This was a plus for me. I ended up restoring from scratch and everything is working now.

So it seems the HTC official is a bit different than the leaked one.

*edit* Make sure you have olipro 2.40 or NueSPL 2.47 first...

should work fine to update your radio, but remember:
DONT LET CUSTOMIZATIONS RUN !!!
DONT LET CUSTOMIZATIONS RUN !!!
DONT LET CUSTOMIZATIONS RUN !!!

From there, i recommend trying a No2Chem ROM
