Re: New Official Sprint ROM (3.56, radio 3.42.20)

I'm having problems with Google Maps and GPS. It keeps coming back with the error that the "GPS receiver is having trouble tracking GPS satellites." The thing is - I had a clear view of the sky with no obstructions and I've only had this problem since installing this latest ROM.

Anybody know what might be wrong or should I just reflash?

Edit: Reflashed and now GPS works great. Near instant acquisition of satellites and it even works indoors.

Youtube is working fine but you have to install TCPMP-0.72R version in addition to FlashVideoBundle.

I have been watching Youtube without installing TCPMP. It works great!

Ok, I can't seem to find this anywhere when I search, but wasn't 6.1 supposed to include some big improvements to PIE? So far, I'm not seeing those improvements.. or is that going to be a separate update?

Re: New Official Sprint ROM (3.56, radio 3.42.20)

I flashed this last night after running no2chem's 2.2 preview ROMs and having freezes and such.

I must say, for a stock ROM, this is a rather impressive piece of work! Its fast, stable, and RAM always seems to stay above 10MB free.

You're correct, but I can't believe that no one has tried taking the 6.1 Standard panels and porting an implementation to 6.1 Professional yet. I guess that HTC Home, the HTC Diamond theme, SPB Mobile Shell, and the umpteen billion iPhone clones are enough for people, lol.

Re: New Official Sprint ROM (3.56, radio 3.42.20)

Ummm... anyone else noticed the vastly increased video performance in this release? The UI lag is still there but the video playback is smoother than it was even with no2chem's directdraw fix!
