Re: Titan Kitchen CE OS 5.2.19199 (Build 19199.1.0.0)

Ah quick question. It says in the instructions that you will encounter errors if you ROM is too large... Well I keep getting an error when its running G'reloc saying "Could not make ther ROM file". The line is something like 'could not write to file C:\Documents and Settings\My name\Applications\Temp... Does that mean I have too much stuff?

I do have ALOT of OEM's selected...

I just hope I can get this working by tonight.... I have a flight tomorrow and I want to use gps on the plane [MYTHBUSTERS PROVED CELL PHONES DON'T MESS WITH PLANE EQUIPTMENT]

Re: Titan Kitchen CE OS 5.2.19199 (Build 19199.1.0.0)

I have a pretty extravagant ROM built, and I'm getting numbers about like I was seeing on my last N2C ROM (5055) with a similar setup (which I'd expect). With HTC Home, MS Voice command, S2U2, and a couple other memory hogs running I'm getting about 15-16 megs free. Could use a little more, but I love all my extras, and it is never too low to run any programs I want - provided I use a decent task manager and run Oxios now and then.

Let's try this again. How (I'm talking to you, gguruusa) do I get this to run at all behind a corporate proxy? Is there any way to bypass the totally unnecessary login step?

I am still unable to log in behind my corporate proxy.

I'm using the most recent ppc-buildos.exe available via ppckitchen.org/downloads (since I can't run the updater) and it most certainly does not work.

So let me answer again.

It's not unnecessary.

a) Go home and run it from there.
b) Tether to your PPC.
c) Wait more than 24 hours for a solution

There's a difference between a proxy and a firewall. It should work behind firewalls, it will usually fail behind proxies. Most corporations use proxies in addition to firewalls.

Please don't clutter this thread with pointless numbers. The ROMs were made from the kitchens...you can get the same numbers if you cook the same stuff.

Don't know what causes that. It's a big mystery - I might have to replace G'reloc to get to the bottom of it. There may be an upper limit to how many things you can pick before G'reloc has a fit, but I've picked quite a few things with no issue.

Don't be stupid...that's not what they proved at all. They even said they can't prove that. Of course, GPS is a passive technology, so it's not really an issue (talking on your phone, using WiFi, or using aGPS is).
