the iocontrol (the long 20 character hex you see at the bottom) would also be useful...

Nice work. I can verify that this does cause it to blink red. However, it only does it a few times for me then stops.

Re: nueLED - configure/customize your LEDs...

Well I did another reset and my Red SErvice light has been going since... this has been about 10mins..

1 thing I did notice is that the Orange Charge light does not light while the red light is blinking...

cool. I believe the 50000000500000000000 code means frequent refresh or something... ill have to figure it out...

actually, maybe 50000xxx causes the led to take higher priority or something. I know the system constantly sends address 4 mode 0, so this might be causing it to turn off...
... so disable address 4 mode 0... and it _should_ work...

yep, it worked.. signal light red now so far.... edit: it doesn't stay on power down... =/, thanks though cj10488!

Having said that, all SUBSEQUENT VERSIONS WILL WORK STILL.

Step 1: Uninstall 1.1 from the remove programs...yah yah, I know it says it can't uninstall properly...just ignore that.

Step 2: Reg edit according to 1st page:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\BuiltIn\AllLEDMgr]
"Index"=dword:1

ALSO CHANGE
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\BuiltIn\nueLED]
"Index"=dword:2

Step 3:
Reboot!
Your original LED pattern, (i.e. signal light should be flashing etc.)

Step 4:
If you can, delete the nueLED key from above...it wouldn't let me on my PDA though...

Step 5:
Install newer version -> 1.5 last I checked. It WILL install properly this time, (installation says successful, but it won't ask you to reboot.) You can now start up the new nueLED program (pun intended ) and make whatever changes you want without it crashing.

So...if anyone knows how to delete old entries from the installed program list, please post the solution!!!

verkion
This did not work for me. Although I was running version 1.2. I tried cleaning the registry with SKtools, not help there. Ended up reinstalling LED Killer 3.1 until my next hard reset.
