Re: VetVito's Aero Windows Mobile (6.1.1)

I am a virgin phone tweaker, but you did one hell of a job on this. I just need to get a few things ironed out with some research. 2 things Im working on is my weather wont connect (I do have connectivity) and where can I find the original push software to add back in?

This phone is now everything it should have been from verizon. My hats off to all who invested their time into it. It really shows!

How can I get push email back without going to a 3rd party?

Thanks for the link BTW, but the patch did not work for me.

Does anyone know how to turn off the text message successful notification? Its the one that says "System Administrator - The message you sent has been delivered"

Re: VetVito's Aero Windows Mobile (6.1.1)

Is anyone else having problems with the HTC weather downloading the forecast for their prospective cities? I still haven't gotten the IOTA to work BUT I have been able to get the 1X to run well just like my 6700 would. I downloaded the IOTA.cab file and soft reset the phone but still havent gotten a IOTA connection as of yet but that isnt my primary focus as of now.

I don't have it with Cricket so I can't help you there.
The patch works off a proxy, launch PIE first so it can detect your proxy. You will only need to do this once.

I have never gotten this error, I remember reading something like it though from other users, but I coudn't tell you your exact problem. What I do is start from scratch and check my steps. Those errors can be a Bit*h!

Re: VetVito's Aero Windows Mobile (6.1.1)

I tried your PIE launch and it still didnt work. No big deal, I have weatherbug anyway. I will just keep messing around with it.

Thanks for the advice anyway tho! I cant believe how much better the phone looks now, and having the GPS is killer, so I ain't complaining!!

Re: VetVito's Aero Windows Mobile (6.1.1)

Bug on 6.1.1 universal: Keypad QuickTasks in settings doesn't seem to work. There is no icon associated with it and when tapping on the text nothing happens.
