Re: VetVito's Aero Windows Mobile (6.1.1)
Does anyone know how to turn off the text message successful notification? Its the one that says "System Administrator - The message you sent has been delivered"

Re: VetVito's Aero Windows Mobile (6.1.1)
Thought folks would like to see what the OS looks like. It runs very well although you cant get the weather to load not yet at least =o)~ . I have quite a few applications installed including the GPS app on the today screen, Google maps, live search, tcpmp, oxios memory...ect and has about 12-15mb of free program memory at all time. A few other problems yet to be resolved is the today screen contact button can be iffy, the keypad quicktask is missing an icon and really doesn't even exist it would appear on the phone and I have yet to initialize IOTA through (Start>Settings>Phone>Services>Internet). If anyone has any insight on how to help fix these problems or have any other questions I'll be happy to be on ether end to help make this OS all that it can be and more. Big thanks again to VetVito for the hard work, and all the other posters that make this site so great. |

I don't have IOTA, I can't help there. I will fix the contact button, but you can fix it for now with the softkey applet. Quicktask is a phantom for me, I will keep looking into it though. *Fixed it* Removed the phantom icon. Next build. Last edited by vetvito; 02-25-2008 at 02:43 AM. |

Well I installed the IOTA.cab file into the system and have yet to complete the connection. Any time I go to connect through PIE or any other internet application it automatically connects through 1X only, not the "EV". I checked all the specifications through the phone options in settings and it is set to hybrid so maybe I should try "evdo only" instead and see what happens, other than that it seems I'm up sh1t's creek without a paddle. |

^Don't know if you would like to flash again, but I can have a sprint specific version up tonight and you can see if that works.

Couldn't hurt if you don't mind putting in the extra effort. I'm sure whatever the problem is it can't be that big of a pain, its just a matter of trial and data =o). What carrier are you using, Verizon I take it, how big of a difference in coding is there?

Re: VetVito's Aero Windows Mobile (6.1.1)
^ Nope Cricket actually, all I have to do for cricket is the web setting settings.
Here it is: http://rapidshare.com/files/94744781/VSprint.exe I had to start over because I relized when I removed that Phantom Icon it broke the action screen. Once I started messing with it I ran into a wall sh*t, long story short the Phantom Icon is back until I do another OEM. Let me know if this one works. Re: VetVito's Aero Windows Mobile (6.1.1)
Well it loaded fine and a few observations off the bat...
The Contacts button seems to be working off the bat, BUT the HTC weather is still not uploading the data for any city I enter. The initial start up loaded pretty slowly and started off with 16.50MB of free memory, after a hard reset it loaded slowly once again with 18.41MB of free program memory. I was having problems with dialing out but after going in to (Start>Settings>Phone>and change the voicemail #) everything seemed to start working although In the same phone window it says my number is a bunch of zeros with 4 numbers at the end right above the voicemail number. I tried connecting through IOTA in the phone settings and still no dice.... I see you made changes to the Comm Manager and it works properlly but still seems that nothing has changed as of yet. Thanks for the effort and I will give a furthur review after loading everything up. By the way originally after having numeous app's installed the phone had 15.48MB on startup and after running Oxios Close App's it had 16.28MB of free program memory, we'll see if we can get any better after everything is loaded. |
