Anyone else have a perpetual reboot problem with this ROM? It loaded okay, but I saw no initial setup (time zone, screen align etc.) As soon as win mobile loads, it then reboots. If I connect to Activesynch, no reboots. Strange.

Unhappy bluetooth issues...

I too am having bluetooth issues. The bluetooth multifunction button doesn't activate voicecommand. It is a major miss on the rom, for me.

no2chem, thanks so far with everything, but did you have any luck with the bluetooth?
Anyone else having a loss of functionality with their bluetooth such as no auto-dialing when hitting the button on the blutooth, and no hangup of call while hitting the button?
Yes I'm also having the same issue but I first had this issue with the 3.16 rom. After some time MSVC would no longer see me pressing the button on my BT headset. I would press it to use it but it would just open the audio gateway and I would hear all sounds on my phone. The only way to resolve would be a soft reset. I now still have it in 5038 and I'm waiting for most issues to be resolved before I build myself a new rom.

This issue doesn't happen all the time. So far I've only had it happen once in using this rom for the past day or so and I use MSVC alot.

No issues for me on this rom with the bluetooth MFB. I am also using the cody VC1.6 fix and that might help. ( I am using a Blueant Z9 and Supertooth 2) I just noticed that my text messages are now being announced when they are received. I have not had that happen since running VC on my apache with WM5.

My BT headset is:

Spent good part of the day yesterday installing and trying out nueROM. Working as advertised!

Tested GPS with iNav and Live Search. BT works well. Tested RevA with Comedy Central - John Stuart talked kinda slow in low voice with old ROM when connected through Internet Sharing. Now he sounds like himself although stream still blocks every once in a while.

Looked at energy consumption with acbPowerMeter. I did not notice much difference as compared with older ROM, it is around 85 Ma with BT off and screen off, and with BT, data and screen on and with CPU usage it can go to 450 and higher.

Very nice work, thank you very much!

Before I claim that my personal device is in error, I wanted to verify that you (or anyone else for that matter) was experiencing the same.
Beam is not working for me either.
