I installed the WM6.1 update and everything seemed to go off without a hitch.
The load was much snappier, quicker to respond than ever before. Even came loaded with threaded SMS. I love it! GPS worked yesterday all day. Awesome!

This morning, different story. The only difference is that I had my alarms go off this morning but there didn't seem to be any conflict. I got in the car to come to work, fired up the GPS and when I launch GoogleMaps and turn on the GPS function, the phone freezes. Any time GPS is turned on by an app, the phone freezes and needs a reboot.

Any ideas?

I'm using ROM: 3.16.651.0, Radio: 3.27.00 and WM6.1


Also, I've read through this thread twice, and I'm a bit confused.
What is the current load that everyone is using? What is there/isn't there that everyone wants?

I have the latest build 5038
looking into this, anyone know if it was an issue with previous builds?

I rolled back to 5036 build. not an issue for me anymore

I have had 5035 5036 and 5038

I only experienced it with the 5038 version

HELP!!! What am I doing wrong
 
I have tried 4 times to load this new ROM without success. All I get is the HTC screen and then it locks up. I am running Olipro 2.40 and I have unlocked the device. What am I missing? And where can I find radio 3.27.00?

You guys might want to check this post for a possible fix. This issue might be common to both no2chem's and dcd's final WM 6.1 roms. It's a wierd one.

does the vzw build have the strange updating error requiring a soft reset after you install a program?
