Also, I did have to call verizon for the AKey (which they don't actually give out but rather do some stuff over the air to connect and corret the problem. I acted REAL dumb and gave them the excuse that I was using ActivSync and the xv6800 just started re-booting and doing weird stuff, etc! ) When I tried to look up the AKey the info was greyed out. If I do this again, will I have to go through the same process with Verizon and take the risk of them looking back and seeing that I've already done this once?

You shouldn't have to update your Akey again but ymmv.

Anyone That can vouch for what version of teh HTC Home Plugin (6 button) that works with this ROM?

Any 2.x version should be fine.

hey any of you guys having the same experience that I am?

what happens is if I customize my start menu items or install new programs I do not see the changes until I soft reset. thanks

Even a newly installed program won't show in the Program group until a soft reset.

it does the same thing with contacts as well.

after activesync. favorites and files would show, no soft reset required

but contacts won't show until soft reset

Also, the threaded sms now shows character count at the top while typing. Howerver, it seems like the text box where you input a new message is about 5 pixels too small because it cuts off the bottom of your characters displayed in the window.
