Are you running any spyware or adware blockers? Some restrict header information etc and simply adding ppcgeeks.com to the trusted area can make all the difference. If that doesn't help, I could upload what you need to rapidshare or something if you need. (if someone hasn't done it already.

Thanks for the help and BTW, I love your user name.

I added pcgeeks.com and ftp://up.ppcgeeks.com/ to the "trusted" site in IE7 and still no dice which is weird because it works great from work. All I can think of is my security program (nod32) behaves differently when I'm physically connected to our server at work.

Anyway, if you could upload the file for me I'd be really appreciative.

Thanks!

I noted something very serious... I dont know if this was just my situation but I think this qualifies under RED ALERT

Encryption is on by default! All things copied to my storage card after flashing were useless on my computer! Can anyone confirm this?

thanks saumaun, this does qualify as red alert information. I'm working on it, and posting a fix ASAP.

If we're in the middle of re-loading all of our apps, should we wait for the fix?

I certainly would, unless you don't use the storage card.

so does anything put on the card with this ROM become unable to be read on another ROM version as well or just a computer? I've never dealt with encryption before...

[sammich] 02-04-2008 11:17 PM

I read up on WM encryption and you will not be able to read the data even after a hard reset on the same ROM. What I would do is if you have already moved data from the device to the storage card (not programs because you reinstall those anyway) re open every new file you placed there after you have unchecked encryption. It seems to have removed the encryption on my device.

I feel for you no2chem! it seems you haven't gotten much sleep lol! Keep the great work up! I must say, after Helmi's ROMs, your ROMs are the only one's I've flashed to my device! Well, that means you have made the only Titan ROMs I've ever flashed to my phone!

I would donate, but credit cards don't exactly exist for 15 year olds... Yes I DEFINITELY fit the description of geek - 15, junior in highschool, MCDST, CompTIA A+, avid gamer, and has a phone thats hacked to the brim.
