I made one. It is based on the 5024 ROM. I haven't had time to work on the 5025 yet. I will probably do that tomorrow.

Note that other Verizon users have used this ROM without my changes. I'm not sure if MMS works but I know you will see Sprint PCS instead of Verizon Wireless in several areas.

Cool

If I go out to microsoft's life.com -- the web page ultimately tells me that I am trying to login as a VZW (verizon) phone. Ideas?
I need to get my mail sync'd up with my hotmail account. This is the first time I have had probs.
Any ideas about how to get the hotmail synced up with my pocket outlook?

You have to give it some time for it to provision the data, then you will get a popup on your phone stating that the vision services is being updated.

So thanks to all your help, I'm running the ROM and it's great.

Question:

I noticed 6.1 has a fancy task manager, but why does it not have the X-button style closing bar on the top right? Am I crazy?

the sms is not cabbed

i am a little skeptical to put on htc home due to the fact that it messed up my text message count on the 5023 version of this rom..

can some1 verify that this is not a problem any more because i really like htc home, also did any1 figure how to remove the the clock and date on the top bar?

Blazingwolf - I am currently using the 5025 ROM from NU2chem (BTW - Great ROM) I keep running into small issues here and there with the Sprint settings throughout the ROM. I am working them out, as I have installed the Verizon MMS cab and it integrated into the threaded SMS currently in the WM6.1. I had issues getting it setup right but after a few hours tinkering around in the registry and other settings I did get it to work fine. My issue is that when the day come I have to do a hard reset it is going to suck setting it back up again.... If I could figure out the whole kitchen thing I could do my own ROM with the things I want in it, then I would be really happy, but alas, I may not be smart nough to figure that out.....

But if you are going to make a Verizon 5025 ROM, that would be kick arse..... Thanks for all the help

az

i had this problem earlier you will need to call sprint and have them help you but first of all hit ##data# and change the user name so when you try to log in it will give you and error 67 code... this is the only way they will get it to work because if u tell them you get a blank screen they act like freeking idiots and tell you to do a bunch of useless crap that doesnt work..

this was my reason for going back to a stock rom but trial and error really helped me with this
