I read this whole thread, and since I wanted GPS to work, I took the chance.
Had the phone 1 month, and went for it. Less than 15 min. It did stop and restart at 11%. Let the program and sprint update do all the work. Everything works well.
Now I wish I could understand you guys on how you change the appearance of the screen. Seen some nice usefull ones, but you lose me as soon as you mention this tool and that registry change. I don't know if the tools are on the phone or PC, or if you make all the changes on the PC then upload the new look???????

Can anyone tell me where a good discussion on this subject is located??

holy **** man i wish i knew someone around here that was ppc savvy i would pay someone to get my gps working internally!!!!!!!!! im not kidding i really dont want to run around with an external antenna............. PLEASE HELP

For those who hav been brave enough to try this new ROM, how has the bt been performing?

yes, I am interested in performance, AAADNNN,
what is required to load this new ROM? I read all the threads about bootloaders, but don't really want to go down that route today with my daily driver.

Shouldn't it just be a launch ROM install?

When do we think that sprint will actually release this ROM?

ok i was trying to load the new rom from my moms pc and i ran i guess whats called a bootlocker or something on my mogul and now im stuck with this red green blue and white screen and i dont know what to do. all i can do it plug it into the pc and it will say usb instead of serial. I cant even use the phone at all other then that. can someone help me out. All i want to do is install the new rom. I dont care i lose everthing else. i saved my contacts on the sd thats all im worried about.

So far so good with the blueteeth. My GF asked me yesterday if the new ROM was out(you mean she actually listens to my geek ramblings?), because she could tell a difference.

Dude, you have got to be kidding me. Its best that you read all the stickies up top before you start messing with stuff. This is why n00bs find a hard time with getting help.
