I can't remember EXACTLY what they do, but I seem to remember one of them has to do with the voice dialer app, and the other has to do with the SD Card power management. I've read several threads that explain that these can go away without detriment to your phone. I've always removed them as one of the first steps whenever I upgrade. This is about the 5th ROM besides the stockers that I have had on my mogul.

my experiencerebooted at 11% at install then completed. everything is running and I actually have 3MB more RAM with same apps installed (previous 2.17). but, randomly when I press the power button my device locks up and I have to restart. also; not seeing rev A speeds in revA covered areas.

Outstanding!

Get those custom ROM's a' cookin... waiting for my Alltel love... all you Sprint users test the crap out of this to see how it works!

BTW, KMart... just out of curiousness, any idea where this ROM originated since it's not an official release? Was this ported from another HTC device?

It seems to be an official Sprint ROM, what I meant by not official is that it wasn't being released by either HTC or Sprint officially.

It is designed for the Sprint Mogul though. Hope that clears it up.

I apologize I have ran out of alternatives. Technical support is the best option.

ANd seeing as how I can't call them, what will Sprint do to help me?
5:41:45 PM Agent Natalie
You will need to contact Technical Support or go to a local sprint store.

I swear Sprint tech support is like talking to a brick wall..

I came from stock 2.17- it did the reboot @ 11% and then had an [ERROR 270] Update error right about 50%. This has happened twice now.

Has anyone flashed back to 2.17 after updating to this ROM? Just preparing for the worst and hoping for the best... thanks.
