i had this happen to me aswell.. i just uninstalled setcpu then reinstalled it.. let it find my settings set it to 1.2 and 200mhz low and never went back into the program after that and i havent had a problem since.

What did you set the scaler to? On Demand? Smartass? I'm thinking it's a problem with the Conservative setting, I've uninstalled and reinstalled and all that. So far no problems with On Demand when I leave the max at 1000mhz

midnight -- i got an update from sprint for the ec05 rom. i updated my phone. i then rooted it using one click root 3.0.. im wondering whats ur latest rom for this update from sprint??

You want the good or bad news....lol...the latest is on his site...5.0.....the downside is I think you are going to have to odin back to DI8....the ota was breaking stuff after the rom flash...constant reboots...so if you want this rom you need to go back to D18 and follow the instructions Rob has provided on his site...

ok.. well. i dont know what i did. but..

after i got the update, i tryed to do clockwork 3.0, then i booted into clockwork, the files started to converter. then my phone wouldnt reset.
so i then downloaded the midNIGHT ROM v5 (No Tweaks Edition) EXT4/CW3 NCIQ.
its working good.
but then i saw the midNIGHT ROM v5 (BYOR Edition) EC05 NCIQ.
so know i dont know if i installed the correct one.

The midNIGHT ROM v5 (BYOR Edition) EC05 NCIQ version is the "standard" edition now (follow instructions). The developer posted the other versions because a minority of the uses had issues with the tweaks and journaling. The developer made some tweaks to take a lot of the crap out and some people don't like it. The jounaling when on can cause some problems (it is the default on midNIGHT ROM v5 (BYOR Edition) EC05 NCIQ, but some users would like it on to meet their needs. The worst is that the no tweaks has the sprint apps I believe and other things to bloat the ROM. I guess it comes down to choice. Then again, I have learned, if it works, leave it alone.

Um....its the other way around...Journaling On = More Stability + More data writes aka less speed, Journaling Off = Less Stability but more Speed due to less data writes...

Journaling Off is ok for people who can keep their battery on and shut down properly..but with Journaling Off if your battery dies there is a "chance" some data can get corrupt or the entire phone can wipe itself like a reset. (so keeping backups is good)

mmmmm. anybody getting problems with 3g connection?? i dont know if its the rom or the new ec05 update. but when i open my internet, it doesnt load, i have to keep refreshing it. for examble facebook website just stays blank, or sometimes i get a connection error icon on the webpage. never got that before.
another thing. when some1 uploads a video i cant see it. it says unable to play. if i click on it it goes to the youtube website and still doesnt play. it used to open the youtube app, but it doesnt. is there any setting i have to turn on??

its EC05, i had the same problem but installing modem manually with odin fixed the issue.
