The one I posted is the midNIGHT rom without the extra folder. The other difference is that there is only one flash. Copy the rom to your sd card, boot into CWM and flash. When the phone boots up, skip the setup to avoid any force close. Oh, and wipe before you flash. You can sign in to your google account by opening the market, or in the contacts screen.

Yup, choose install zip from card. If that's what you're asking.

Yes Ext4, no journal mod, all the good stuff.

NCIQ stands for No Carrier IQ. It means CIQ was removed from the ROM.

What is CIQ? Read here and you will fully appreciate what it means to have it gone:

Carrier IQ - Sprint is EVIL

Re: [ROM] midNIGHT ROM v4.2 (BYOR Edition)/(FULL Standard Edition) 3/14/2011

Hey everyone. Sorry I've not been around much this past few days. I have alot going on right now. Thanks for helping each other. Now for a brief update...

EB13 Modem Update (From DI18 or EB13 ONLY)
----- You will not lose any data. This is flashed from CW Recovery.
----- Also helpful if you are having issues with your modem.

Not sure if anyone had done this but I created this myself and stuck it on the blog. It's there if anyone needs it

If your one of my testers it will be in the dropbox in a minute.

Also, Shane,

I got your email. I'm going to reply in a few minutes. Sorry it took so long.

Thanks everyone....

Rob

Re: [ROM] midNIGHT ROM v4.2 (BYOR Edition)/(FULL Standard Edition) 3/14/2011

Swype stopped working for me a couple of days ago so I decided to update to the latest verstion (midNIGHT ROM v4.2 (FULL Standard Edition) NCIQ). I started with running Odin, then the OneClickRoot. I installed the above mentioned ROM. Everything is GREAT!

My issue happens when I load either of the Honeycomb themes. I have used both in the past (not at the same time, of course). I wanted to go back to the original. I do the 3x wipe, load the theme, then reboot. The reboot never completes ... it stays on the blue android with the swirl screen. After a while it vibrates, but never leaves this screen. To get back to my phone, I reflashed to midNIGHT ROM v4.2.

Any ideas as to why these themes aren't working?

Thanks!

Are you making sure that you allow the phone to completely boot up once after flashing the ROM before flashing the theme? If not that will cause a boot loop.
