ok guys i tried to reproduce the issue with battery drain the getting fc's and i actually made it happen, my question is did anybody having issues flash bonsai rom and come back to midnight rom? i just tried his to check it out and exact same deal happened when i went back to midnight with wipes n all.

is that what it does when you use titanium backup? because i was installing the roms from the market and then i was gonna try and restore just the data for some of them would that work?

p.s. one thing ive always done b/c i was always told to but never understood is why do we have to wipe 3x b4 flashing?

anything saved from a non ext4/edify backup will not restore properly.

I have experienced this (Friday) and I did use the Bonsai once, back around 12/20. I also tried Viper and Quantum on or about that date. I've been on Midnight exclusively since then, Currently on v2.3 with EXT4 ('cause I've been too lazy to update).

I can't climb on my soapbox cause 1. I have vertigo and am afraid of heights 2. I don't have one, but I can tell ya'll this. I'm surrounded both at work and home by people who tell me I, we, they can't. This forum is a place where almost to a man/woman(uh whatever is politically correct) everyone says we can. To me there's alot more than just rom development and management going on. Maybe we're all here for different reasons but this is my "can do it" escape from all that. I'm amazed at the level of intelligence(and sometimes the opposite) that is freely shared. I won't use the word family cause I'd have to buy Christmas and Bday presents but I would like to think of this place as a place of smart friends. Nuff said except for thanks, especially to ptfd. You can and you do! I'm thru now.

When I originally switched to EXT4 I used Titanium Backup to restore my apps. However I did not use the batch function "Restore all apps + user data" because I figured it would cause issues. I went through all 200+ backed up files and only restored the ones I needed. Remember that within all those backups are a lot of system files that do not need to be restored (and in this case should not be restored). I went through the list and only restored apps that I had installed and it worked perfectly. I think the problem comes from running the batch function because you restore things that make changes to system files. Just go through and restore the ones you need (like Angry Birds lol) and it should be fine.

Don't worry about it. I was in a hurry when I read through the thread yesterday and I thought the post you had written about fixing the build prop meant that you had fixed it in the ROM and uploaded a fixed version of the ROM, that's the only reason I posted anything about it. I flashed the build prop fix and all is well.
BTW I love the animated stuff you added. The fly-in window thing kicks ass.
