Oh, and here's one other thing I discovered. Long before EXT4 ever showed up I had used the SDX Stock App Remover to backup and then remove a bunch of apps, including Swype. Ever since then I have used the "Restore" function to restore Swype on every ROM I have flashed that didn't already have it. When I switched to EXT4 I used that same Swype backup and it restored just fine. In fact I have never done a new backup since switching to EXT4 and the SDX App Remover still restores Swype with no problems (just did it with 2.7 last night). Maybe once an app in installed on the phone it doesn't matter how it got there. My Titanium backups restored just fine from RFS to EXT4 and so do the SDX Stock App Remover Backups as long as I do them one at a time.

As I have said you may be just fine. But by restoring a backup like that and problems you run into FC's whatever cannot be supported. That's why. As a developer I don't know what is a ROM problem or what is a user issue. Make sense? So yes I know it will work but not all the time and not every phone.

I've yet to have a single issue using Titanium to restore all my apps across all versions of midnight rom. I too restore them one at a time, both app and data for example with ADWex. Didn't think to try or use stock removal app but I'm gonna give it a try to see.

when I receive a picture mail, if i click on the picture so i can pinch to zoom on it, it opens up some where video?player and starts playing the picture...

Im not sure why this rom does this, maybe its the default picture viewer or something, anyways is there any way to set gallery to open mms pictures when clicked on?

now im getting weird issues with my battery reading wayoff and phone keeps shutting down on its own with a battery at 80%. jumped off new build for awhile but im hoping its not ext4 damage but it seems to soon for that.

you have the option to use "gallery" as default. should ask when you open picture, mine does.
