With the first big Nokia release of the year still a week away here in the UK, Nokia has issued a Nokia 5800 firmware update for those devices already in circulation.
The update takes the new smartphone to firmware v11.0.008 from the previous v10.0.010 and from what we can see it offers greater stability to the operating system, as well a number of minor bug fixes."




This phone is almost as old as the i910 and it already has a firmware upgrade?!? I was going to get this phone until I heard that Nokia was going to make the N97 - which, at the time would be 6 months away. I got the Omnia instead. Finding out that the Omnia (i900 and i910 combined) have sold a million phones too has not helped me either...


Samsung needs to really step it up IMO. Quick. I am 2 months, 2 more glitches and $175 away from breaking this VZN contract at this point.
