http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZAw4xvpiSoI The video is brief, but you can see twice - she presses the 'Add word' option and the add word dialog shows for half a second and disappears. Does this happen to you? Also, if this is something that affects all Omnias and won't get fixed, do you folks have recommendations for a 3rd party keyboard that'll to t9 with a working add-word feature? Thanks, Louis |

Re: Omnia problems and solutions thread!!!
I got a problem with my Omnia maybe someone can help me out with.
First off, the other day I got a message from someone who I would normally have a long text log with. First thing I notice is the entire log between us is just gone. So I respond to the message and watch as the popup for the txt message was still there.. I clicked it but there was no new message. So now, anytime i receive a txt or anything else, it shows me as having a text message that i cant even see. I even re-deleted the log to see if that would fix the problem but it didnt. Also tried shutting the phone off which didnt help anything. If anyone has any ideas for me I would greatly appreciate them because im getting really tired of seeing the same notification over and over!! Thanks -Derek |

Re: Omnia problems and solutions thread!!!
Looking to get an Omnia for use on the Bell network. From what I read here, the Omnia is not as amenable to custom ROMs as is the HTC Diamond, for example; at least, not with Bell. Is the phone worth getting? How much can I do with the ROM if I'm on Bell network?

Re: Omnia problems and solutions thread!!!
Hi,
From the beginning I have found very difficult to “control” scrolling function. For example, when open a contact list and then starts to scroll-the screen moves so fast that it is not possible to follow it. Furthermore, when trying to continue scrolling-it happens that contact that is on the bottom of the list-opens. Any suggestion or app that makes life easier? Thanks a lot |
