Did anyone else experience a change in battery life after the flash? My battery life seems to have shorten by 50%. I have my email set to once every hour, my wifi and bluetooth are off, and all my programs are shut down, but still my battery is draining. I also noticed that my active sync is always on even tho i shut it down all the time and the back of the phone is really hot for 75% of the time. Any advice?

nm guys. I found out what it was. It was google maps. As soon as i install it all the issues arise. Any recommendations on a better GPS program?

You can try Amaze. I heard it's pretty good. I still use Google Maps, but I've been thinking about trying it out.

If you mean the 'official' Verizon update, there wasn't a peep out of them, so the answer would be no.

There is always the leaked ROM though!!!
