Just like you do with the Omnia 1. Remove the check mark in the today settings.

I played with an O2 yesterday. Think I'll stick with my O1 for awhile longer. I think I'd miss the optic mouse, among other things, but very pretty screen, though, on the O2.

I spent about 30 minutes playing with the O2 lastngiht in a VZW store, I was really supprised at how much i liked it. The hardware is nice. First thing i did was close out of all the open apps, there where at least 10 of them, and then turned off the touch wiz. The phone flew. I found and installed the newest google maps in under 2 minutes. There was a near instant GPS lock. The screen is very nice. not sure if its glass or plastic. Theres a lot of nice included apps. The phone is gettign killed by people who havent tryed it out yet or are just going off of crappy videos of it on engadget..... i really recomend trying it for yourself... I"m coming from a VZW HTC 6900 Touch, almost ready to swtich to an Iphone ( been using an jailbrook Itouch for the last 3 months) but last night after usign the O2 i'm really thinking of staying with VZW with an O2. I've been too many place with friends with iphones who couldnt send a text but i could stream youtube clips with my old touch. THe O@ fixes most of my grips with the old touch. 3.5 jack... WIFI...fast... big screen.. nice camera with flash.

went to the vzw store and played with an o2 this afternoon, they didn't have one on display, but they did go nab one out of the backroom. so i saw it from the virgin boot, doesn't boot as fast as mine, but there is no way it could, sammy doesn't have the loving chefs that made the o1 the slick device we all love.
even with the shipped screen cover in place, this one has a better touch factor than the original omnia. it wasn't as flickable as mine, but once I got rid of the chirps and buzzes when you touched the screen, it was better. the touchwiz was nowhere as bad as gizmodo made it out to be, but they are a bunch of appletards after all.
all in all, I was impressed enough to call vzw when I got home and ordered one of my own.

I played with one in the store yesterday and thought it seem great (especially after removing the widgets and touchwiz.) If I had an upgrade handy I would definitely get it, but alas I had to use my mother's upgrade to get my Omnia 1 so my upcoming upgrade in March is now hers. So her next upgrade isn't until november 2010 who knows, by then there could be an Omnia 3 lol.

Lucky for me my mother is awesome. She bought me the omnia 2 for christmas Somehow even though my contract isn't up until march, I still had the new 2-year contract price when I checked online, so she said she's buy it for me and she would take my Omnia 1.
