Re: Anyone somewhat regretting the TP2 after seeing the HTC Evo 4G?

I bet if there is enough interest and people working on it, it might be poss to port WM 6.5 from HD2 to Evo. 0f course, drivers for hw is always an issue |

I bought my TP2 the day it came out so it will be approximately one year which is the time when I get to upgrade to a new phone. Im getting my Evo 4g soon so no, I dont regret it.

Re: Anyone somewhat regretting the TP2 after seeing the HTC Evo 4G?
EVO is the best, for a few months, then something else will come out. Its just the nature of technology. TP2 is very slow though, and I want something better than WinMo since I just dont like using it anymore. Anyone want to buy a TP2 running WinMo 6.5 8gb SD Card, 2 chargers, and 2 batteries all for 250 bucks you just let me know. BTW, its (Sprint provided) factory refurb i've had for less than 30 days with no scratches or anything wrong with it at all!

Re: Anyone somewhat regretting the TP2 after seeing the HTC Evo 4G?
I want to go Evo, but having to change my plan and pay the extra $10 a month is preventing me. Like someone said earlier, if the HD2 was on Sprint, I'd be on it asap. I don't need any of the extra features the Evo offers (except *maybe* the front camera) and don't care about 4G. WM is fine for me, just that none of the hardware out is fast enough for it. The HD2 solves that problem, but unfortunately is only on T-Mobile.

Re: Anyone somewhat regretting the TP2 after seeing the HTC Evo 4G?
I will be dumping my touch pro 2 so fast it wont be funny. While I like all the roms and apps for the TP2, it probably the slowest phone I've ever owned. I feel the TP2 has the best form factor of any phone on the market, but the performance is unacceptable for a phone that retailed for $600. I would never recommend it to anyone.
I'm not really hot for android, but the proc speed is what I'm interested in. |

Re: Anyone somewhat regretting the TP2 after seeing the HTC Evo 4G?
The Evo looks nice but for SERO plan owners you would have to give up that sweet sweet plan. On top of that if you don't live in the 4G areas you pay the extra $10 for nothing. PLUS sprint may not even stick with WiMAX.
So yea i'm pretty happy with the TP2 no regrets |
