Anyone here made transition from Touch Pro to Treo Pro?

Well as a coincidence i just switched from the Treo Pro to the Touch Pro today. I am really happy about the Touch though, the screen resolution was my biggest gripe with the Palm, as well as the crammped keyboard (it hurt my fingers to type a lot) , but i have a Palm Pro in great condition (w/ xtra battery, spare back casing, extra stylus) if anybody is interested send me a PM we can set somethin up through ebay or something

I know there are differences but I left the Touch pro for 4 Treo Pro"s. It's easier in so many ways, better in so many ways & much more comfortable & I could go on. Regretfully for the sad news for Palm but I am a Palm man.=D>

I made the big switch back to the treo yesterday and boy i felt like i had just reunited with a long lost friend. i had the touch pro for little over 3 weeks. Loved the screen and had some awesome apps but hung up on me all the time and i could not live with the battery life.

Being to do all the same work with out having to slide out a keyboard made life to much easier.

Plus battery life is great!

Ya Know I learned all that with the extra stuff back in the days of the IP830 but the same as the Touch Pro it was just to big & bulky. This I would say is the main reason for coming back to Palm. Yea all phones have problems b ut b uilding is what we do so you guys choose the HTC & we choose the Palm anyway you look at it we still can talk & write to each other no matter what we use. So I put a rubber sleeve around my Pro's & 75% of the fingerprints disappeared, itls easy to hold & type on since it raises the back of my thumb s up just enough & now it finally fits my cases & doesn't turn on for30 seconds at a time when I don't know about to waste the batteey. These may be little things to discuss but now these improvement are very valuable for me & hopefully you.

I have switched and I love the treo pro over the touch pro. I still have my touch pro because the HTC series was so bad as being used as a talking phone, I've always had two phones. one for talking, and the other one for the internent and texting. mind you, it's on a shared plan, so the second for phone only cost me a couple of extra dollars a month. but I basically only uses the treo pre now for everything

i bought the 800w last year this time from the centro, it was alright. hasnt used windows mobile since the 700wx. then november popped around and i got the touch pro. i returned it in 3 days. battery, reception, lagg, horizontal slide out keyboard. terrible, just terrible. i went back to my 800w, and it was alright. once jan rolled around and i heard about the palm pre. i knew that was my last stop on the phone switching for a while.
not so fast! i had a problem with my phone and went into sprint, they ordered my replacement. a week later it never came, so yesterday i went into the store to gripe. and didnt even get angy before the guy walked in the back, and came out with a treo pro.
so here i am, a new treo pro owner. its sexy, quick, sleek, but still windows mobile.
ill hand this one over to my wife when i get my pre.
i just loaded up the manilla 2d rom. and that helps with some of the interface, but i am not sure if i like it all that much.
ill say this, that i have had only two htc handsets in the past, the touch pro, and the ppc5600 i think. neither stayed with me very long. one got returned, and the other ebayed.
ive come to the conclusion when form factor is concerned, im a palm man.
