Malatesta, that Valksoft TrueToolbar looks pretty sweet. Does it have good 1-handed support?

Not to configure but you really only do that first time you run it.

Once it's running, yeah it's great. Basically I can just navigate down there and I'll get a standard "Selected Item" highlight over eash icon. When I click it'll switch to that app.

It could be better though: for instance if you hold down your stylus over each icon, a submenu pops up which includes closing the app, "hiding" it from TrueToolbar (great for AS), etc. I have not found a way to do that via press/hold Enter key, which is usually how that works.

In fact maybe I'll drop them a note about that. All in all though, I just like knowing what is running in the background and it's great for "calling up" my Verichat program which idles in the background.

Also, consider DevState posted in the PPC software section and recently updated. It has a quick launch and a running task section. Only difference is that's a Today Plugin and this is not. Nice app thougha and it's free.

Cool, thanks. I think if Valksoft could implement that push and hold for option, I'd purchase it. But I'm going to give DevState a try.

I've been using TodayAgenda's option for set size and increased the amount of pixels for it to push down a plug-in. It also works kind of like the Scarybear plug-in.

BTW, just curious... what's up with that name? Scarybear? Did I miss something? Hahahaha!

Yup, I have that too and had it on the 6700.

Luckily I rarely soft-reset

Scarybear stopped development on that years ago so no surpise that it has some issus with WM5. OTOH, it's the ONLY option out there for this
Once I get everything the way I want I doubt I will have to soft reset the device. It's still a great little app so I don't mind it being the only option.

Ok so here's my latest...

* iLauncher v3.0.01 (fixed freezing issue when going to settings)
* phonealarm Lite! v1.54 w/Jinks' e-mail skin - awaiting v1.55!
* WeatherPanel with one of Malatesta's themes and Nova Animated icons
* TodayAgenda (0.9.2 beta) - fixed height to keep iLauncher at the bottom
* Resco Explorer w/registry and today plug-in (not in use) - is this a good program? I'm liking so far but want to hear other opinions before buying it.
* SlingPlayer Mobile
* Skype for 312Mhz processors
* Sprite Backup
* UPX4PPC - if anyone has a guide on how to use it, or can give me some pointer I'd appreciate it, I have no idea how to use it

I added screenshots of all my tabs on iLauncher for the heck of it.

Great stuff! That fixed height setting on WeatherPanel really comes in handy - pushing those iLauncher tabs to the bottom really finalizes the look.

As far as Resco goes, I use the file explorer and registry explorer all the time - it's definately worth it to me. Using iLauncher, you don't need the Resco plug-in.

By the way, if you haven't already tried this: If you switch to the "clear" version of that phoneAlarm skin (jinksclear_email), your background will show through, thus matching your overall color scheme...

Thanks for the feedback, I will try Jinks' clear skin. Just in case, the fixed height is for TodayAgenda beta, not WeatherPanel in case anyone else wants to try something like this.

I installed the Scarybear plug-in to add just a couple of lines between Weatherpanel and TodayAgenda but it shows white lines above and below the blank space. Any way to make these go away or be transparent?

No way to make transparent but UI Tweaker allows you to adjust the Today Lines to any color e.g. blue-ish in your case.

Technically, mine has them too but since I have a sold black background, I made sold black "lines" so you can't see them.
