Finally got it ported and loving it.. onlii thing is how do i get the "Black Curve:" Theme that i used to have with my WM5 ... i tryed to apply it to my new WM6 700wx/...lol.. and its not changing over.. it just turns it blue,,, any help?

Forget it .. i find out and got it to Werk ... WOOO HOOOOO WM6 !!

I bricked my other 700wx with the update. I updated my new phone and all seemed well except for one problem. WHen i use the internet it sometimes hangs and i have to force it closed through task bar and restart it.

When do you think the 6.1 rom will be out?

I have the same problem with IE. I had to change the homepage at first because of the "Expiration" message. Once I p***** that point, it freezes, and a force close is necessary. I don't know what is wrong with it. Also, not all the features of WM6 are available with this flash... or is it just my phone? For instance, the dialpad is still the good old WM5 dialpad, as well as the Today screen [it doesn't look bubbly as the authentic WM6, but it does have the cool new features, including the date where 'Sprint' used to be]. Is that the only downfall of flashing with that ROM, or did I miss a step? Either way I'm happy with the new setup, I'm just thinking it would be cool to get the full experience! =]

Could we create a thread in this Section (700wx) Of All the Goodies That would be neat to have on your/our NEW WM6 treos..lol.. im just saying becuase i tryed installing the WM6 Hack to make PIE like a desktop and it said it wasnt compatable..?

Just a thought..

___And is there anyway that i can set up my email to be able to just open. hit send/recivie and it downloads the messages into my inbox.. i tryed and couldnt get it to werk ?

Just flashed it to my wife's phone....successful.....she should be happy.....on a side note this was much easier the first time to flash than my Mogul...BTW what are the main differences on this phone as I do not use it ever......thanks to all!!

Well, people, it seems like the treo 800w has its hands full when it come to the Treo 700wx. I'm with Vzw, and after reading these treads, imo the ratio for the 800w is very slim against the 700wx. I'm seriously leaning towards flashing to the wm6 for my 700wx. If all in favor say, "I".

well, here's what you have to consider, with wm6 on the 700wx you still don't get the benefits of wifi and gps. the 800 comes with it already. other than that... i'm all for flashing.

Did the flash, Sucessfull, except for one thing. My battery is not charging! I left the charger throughout the night but it was only at 34% this morning. Now its at 10% and left on the charger for the past hour, and still says 10%.... Any ideas? Might have to reflash to WM5 if nothing...

Now for the review, by the way I have loaded the trimmed version on both devices now and it seams to run smoother. This setup is not as stable as the WM5 not really a lot of resets just some slow performance lags at times but seams to recover on its own. All the Treo customizations are still there and wireless manager has been added to the right soft key, so no more having to get out your styli out to turn on Bluetooth. This is a basic WM6 has the Office Mobile folder in programs new set of icons etc… and the screen looks clearer to me but that might just be me. IE is quick as always and runs smoothly. I have been using Skyfire to view picture mails when opened in IE you cant see the picture. No real phone issues so far and Bluetooth runs about the same as before so no plusses or minuses there either. All in all I will keep it for now but it’s only been 2 days.

DON’T CHANGE THE NETWORK SETTINGS

F**KKKKKKK i didnt read ure complete post on how not to change the network settings and i did and now im finding myself using Automatic A just to get service.. but its on roaming .. the sprint texh told me that its prob becuase some towers are down around my way.. but found it funny when i noticed that it went a.wall when i changed it........... im going to give it another day or a few hours.. what do you suggest to get my Home connection back/data ??
