Hey guys,

Great site, tons of usefull information here! Does this work the same if I'm under Verizon though...or will the upgrade not work well with the Veriz service?

Re: WM6 finally ported to Treo 700wx

Hey guys I have a verizon 700W (I know I should have got the wx) and I want to modify it by putting a S2U2 and maybe some other stuff. Is this even possible with the palm os. So far everything I've tried to do doesn't work. can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks in advance!!!

Re: WM6 finally ported to Treo 700wx

Effectively yes. just make sure that you sync to your PC prior to doing the ROM upgrade. You have to think of changing the ROM like installing a new OS on your PC. Providing that you sync all your contacts, email, calender, etc. you shouldn't loose anything more than maybe some text messages just make sure that you back everything up first and you will be fine.

I would try flashing back to WM5 and make sure it can still work. Then re-flash back to the trimmed WM6.

I'm using the trimmed version too with my 700wx, but my carrier is Sprint.

Re: WM6 finally ported to Treo 700wx

Can someone tell me if flashing to a WM6 ROM will allow me to get the GPS working on the 700WX? (Verizon)

Thanks so much,
Shane
