you need to reflash back to wm5, then reprovision your phone. once you have successfully reprovisioned under 5 you may then reflash to 6 and then stasy outta the phone settings and all will be well. your answers are below..

The easiest way to reset:

1. Unzip and copy the extracted GetSPC folder (with all 3 files) to the storage card on your device. http://www.5gmobile.us/mobilefiles/VX6800/GetSPC.zip
2. Write down the ESN (Hex) number found behind the battery.
3. Power up and run the 'GetSPC(PPC 2003)' executable on your device.
4. In the 'Input' field, enter the ESN number you wrote down but be sure to use ALL CAPITOLS for the alpha values. (Ex: 123ABCD4, not 123abcd4)
5. Hit the 'Go' button. The value in the 'Output' field will be your "Unlock Code". (MSN, write it down.)
6. Go to ##RTN# (##786#)
7. Options (left softkey) --> Reset
8. Enter in the MSL you have
9. Phone will reset
10. WAIT! It took me several minutes (to the point where I started worrying), then it prompted me to reconfigure my phone. This appears to do a hard reset (I had no data on my device so I'm not sure).
11. Verify that you are no longer roaming.

I was under WM5 when I did this. I will reflash to WM6, intentionally break it, and see if this fixes it.

Confirmed working in WM6. No need to reflash to fix any longer.
Be warned that I'm 99.9% sure this process hard resets your device.

Ok thing is were is the option for step 6 thats where i get lost @ .. i cant see anii of that file/option in the current window that showes the imput/output and cant see a file like that.. any help?

so i installed WM6... first i installed the full rom but that made my 700wx run like garbage... i then tried the trimmed rom and that made it run a lot better, but scrolling through anything (files, internet explorer, etc) was really laggy... to the point of unusable...
finally just tonight i broke down and downgraded back to wm5...
does anyone have any suggestions about my problem so i can go back?

maybe this answer is overly simplistic... but i had some lag when it came to scrolling and whatnot but eventually throughout the day i just soft reset like 3 or 4 times... and by the end of the day (and ever since) it ran faster than any other phone i've used.

maybe you just needed to do the same... some hard and some soft resets

i used wm6 for about a week with several resets and scrolling still lagged... i ended up getting irritated with it which is the reason i downgraded.... also mobile aim 3 beta seems to run quite a bit faster on wm5

Whats the best WM6 .. i had Ebaggs trimmed rom before and worked good except the internet (PIE) was buggy .Anyone can reccomend a ROM that is dam near perfect..Thanks in Advance
