Well I understand that but I couldn't replay 3g2 at all not from within the camera or from WMP. I'm not sure what's going on but I hard reset again and there was no WMP at all. All the assosiations are still to touchplayer. I opened the camera and it could record and replay the videos finally. At that point WMP showed up and all was good. From what I can tell it might have something to do with resco explorer. I installed resco first last time and I think that it may have changed the assosiations some how?
Anyway, for anyone with this problem: After a hard reset record a vid and replay before adding any software to the device. Then proceed as normal.

I install Resco every time.

There is no file assocation to smplayer, aka touch player, just an icon from it. I havent yet found out where in the registry that information is kept.

quick question: i'm running 1.3 original. if flash to 1.3 bug fix or any other rom for that matter, will it reformat the "my storage" space?

I'm having problems with my Omnia. From a hard reset it goes through the bootup graphic, then a gray screen that says "Version 1.3" in the upper-right corner. Then it goes to a blank white screen and stays there. Any ideas?

I've tried hard-resetting a couple of times with the same result, and removing the battery and then resetting again.

No joy on the reflash. I can reflash the phone, it restarts, I've got the Verizon startup logo, and after two minutes or so it goes to a blank white screen. Unless somebody's got a better idea I'm visiting the Verizon store first thing tomorrow morning.

UPDATE: Verizon replaced my Omnia (no charge!). I was able to reflash the leaked ROM and it always hung up on the Verizon logo during bootup. Both the instore tech and the one on the phone concluded that there was some kind of hardware problem. Maybe there was; I had experienced a static electricity hit just before the phone started going weird. I doubt that the problems were due to the 1.3 ROM.

Is this the 1st time you have flashed yours? If so Then I would advise you look at the flash instuctions.
Turn your phone OFF
push detect
plug it in
and turn it on

On another note. Im not sure if anyone else would call this a bug, or if it has already been addressed.

But, with the M2D when texting if I stay in the convo. and never go back to the main screen. it shows i have 5 texts and i have to click into the convo 5 times to get it off.

I used one of the 6.5 m2d roms i found on xda and it did not do that, but it had many other problems and adrynalynes is visually much better and more smooth as well. except 6.5 seems a bit quicker loading some apps.

This happened twice to me where it would get stuck on the Today screen for me. But I think it was something I did that caused this to happen. The first time this happened was when I change my settings to use the Power Save feature. After a soft reset it, it would load up to my today screen and freeze up. The second time I attempted to install the Garmin XT and didn't like it so I ended up uninstalling. Again after the soft reset it did the same thing. Fortunately I was still able to access the Hard Reset under the Start and was able to reflash with no problem.
