I have a question I have used 1.0 and it was very good except I use a program called Pocket E-sword. The program will work with the beta but it will not register the bibles or other book you have to add..Would love to use 1.0 m2d but I really like this program. Anyone have an Ideal. Thank You.

yeah it is free, there is a thread about it here and at modaco and xda. Just install Fingerboard 2.1 and put those in the skins file (overwriting the other version) and you will have my keyboards.

Thanks, Adrynalyne. The earlier Samsung Today 2 (9.55MB, 12/23/0 from shokka9's links works fine (so far). First I tried the DXIA5 version (4.82MB 02/01/09) since it was much smaller than the earlier version. FYI it doesn't work with Base 1.0. It didn't appear in Today settings or register search.

Thanks for your keyboard skins, Omega Ra. I like finger keyboard a lot. I've used it for a month or so now.

I'm guessing that is it. In my startup folder there is a EventBroker.exe file. Here is the full list:

not a problem, I had asked if someone could make one like that, but no one responded over at xda..so I just figured it out myself...those arrows were annoying.

Well, I took a trip to my local Verizon store and got lucky! I think there were several factors in my favor to them replacing my phone:

- There were three people working the tech counter. Two geeky looking guys (like me), and a girl. I was lucky enough to get the girl. No offense, but I had the feeling that if I got one of the guys, they would have known what I did...

- I didn't offer up any information. I just said it won't boot. She immediately went down the road that it was probably charged for too long.

- There was an irate lady in there with a Dare that was cursing up a storm. Apparently, she was in the store for two days trying to get her Dare working right, and they were not much help to her.

Anyway, she offered to replace the phone under warranty (I didn't get the insurance). Lucky Lucky!

So, now I still want to do the new ROMs, but obviously don't want another Monahan's Brick Company special.

I'm trying to think what went wrong. Could USB 1.1 cause a brick? That's the only thing I could think of that might have been different than the masses.

That seems to encourage bricks, but doesn't guarantee them.

OK, well I'll try it out on my PC with USB 2.0 and Vista instead of my laptop with 1.1 and XP.
