Re: Adrynalyne's Base and M2D ROMs

Adrynalyne,

Whew, it took me a while to get through all the posts that have come in about your 1.0 ROM since I downloaded it (base). My install went fine and this ROM is great!

Glad to be rid of a lot of the old icons and tired look.

Can't think of any issues yet except maybe 2.5 related, but I am still getting it all back installed. Will probably need .Net 2.5 as well.

Thanks for all your work. Donation coming.

I have winzip though I don't remember having to pay for it to be honest. I also used the regular download from Mega Upload, it took a while but it wasn't too bad, it was like 5 minutes at most.
Thanks for the reply. I'm working today, but I'll try those things tonight. After seeing how happy everybody else is with this 1.0 base ROM, I really can't wait to flash it myself, but being that I am so much less experienced than most everybody here, I just want to do it right the first time. Thanks for your help.

Re: Adrynalyne's Base and M2D ROMs

Running SPb MS3.0 and I have the Battery Icon in all of the "windows". It shows as a number with the v1.0 rom but it is there.

Are these tested on the Omnia with the longer screen?

Re: Adrynalyne's Base and M2D ROMs

RobTao--thank you

I've used those and they are nice, but idialer doesn't work with some phone systems when dialing extra digits. I thought of including both, but the reality is, they can be problematic at times. I want to minimize issues, not create them

Ah, I see, no problem. I just loaded both this morning... iDialer has crashed once... It seems likely that I'll only use that when actually dialing a number, though (no smart dialing). iContacts seems to be working great, so far.

@Robtao No problems with the longer screen... or even landscape.

Edit: If I had remembered to bring my cable to work, I'd upload some screen shots...

I hardly ever get the battery icon, just the charging icon.
I had the same problem at first, i loaded Grigoris Taskbar v2 and then loaded v3 (i think 3 looks better) and the charging icon went to normal. hope this helps

Re: Adrynalyne's Base and M2D ROMs

Adrynalyne,
I want to say that your work is quite awesome! i am currently running wad2 and it is much more stable on your rom than on the stock verizon. actually, i have enough room to run m2d, wad2, spb shell 2, spb mobile shell 3 and the list goes on and on and on. As soon as possible, you are getting a well deserved beer from me.

Glad to hear yours went well, I'm still waiting for my replacement to come in tue.
When I said beta Rom, I was referring to the leaked one I got from www.theidoctor.org

Good luck when you get your replacement!
