anyhow what abut the task manager?
So I think it's been a little over 36 hours, a couple quick calls, lots of texting, testing a few 3 min videos with TCPMP, posting on one of the forums with Opera, and even a 15 min drive with the GPS active, I'm only at 51%! I only used the stock ROM for a day, so I can't compare the battery life with that. But I would say battery life is about 6X that of my Moto Q. I also noticed the newer battery driver doesn't jump around as much as it did in the 1.5 ROM.

The task manager is alright, easier access for switching apps, but I find trying to hit the tiny X to kill the app instead of switching to it difficult sometimes.

Just wondering if anyone here using Adryn's rom running SRS Wow HD. I just installed it with the 1.6 rom and it really improves the quality of the sound. I know a lot of people have had problems with locking up but so far so good for me.

I saw the post on modaco last night so I tried it. It didn't do anything for me, but I was also using BT headphones ( could that be the issue?) but it also effected the music tab on M2D so I deleted it. I love the idea but without BT support I'm going to leave it off.....on the other hand I had no crashes with it!!

I don't use bluetooth or have my email scheduled. Maybe you can make the interval longer between email checks to save on some battery. Think I used to have mine check every 15 min.

I saw the post on modaco also but I used the cabs on this post which is v1.21 :http://www.modaco.com/content/i9x0-o...uetooth-sound/

The second cab is for bluetooth support, which I'm using with my Jabra BT3030.

1.5 seemed about the same, I haven't really had the same ROM for more than a week though.

I'm noticing one thing though about the new battery driver, either it's not as accurate as I think, or my phone uses nearly 10% of the battery to reboot!

Re: Adrynalyne's 6.1 ROMs v. 1.7 Build 21051

first and foremost, i want to wish you my condolences, adrynalyne, and thank you again for all of your hard work.

that said, i have been running the winmo 6.5 3.7.2 rom, and i love the interface and look of winmo 6.5 (eye candy, honeycomb), but i do not use the titanium panels. i still like the basic today screen. now i'm just looking for the rom with the best speed.

the 14mb page pool seems to make the phone much snappier, but i'm thinking about going back to winmo 6.1 with the new 1.7 rom, as i am more concerned with all out processing speed than i am with eye candy.

can anyone comment on their experience with both, so far as speed/smoothness/stability of the wimno 6.1 1.7 rom and the winmo 6.5 3.7.2 (and later releases) roms?

thanks.
