If those specs are indeed true and we have an uncrippled VZW Touch Pro 2, then count me in at launch!

What!!!??? They not matching it weaker devive compared to any other carrier? Thats crazy and I thought Verizon was a big let down when it came to HTC phones.

Also, "guess" what a screenshot of release date from Verizon's system would look like, and post that too!

August rebate sheet should be leaked any day now, not that I expect to see the TP2 on there, but it would be nice.

You mean like how Sprint released the Snap, which is a weaker device in comparison to Verizon's Ozone, which is global? Not to mention the fact that Verizon's version is a third of the price.

How are those Sprint Touch Pro overheating issues going? Never heard anything about the Verizon version having the same issue.

Phonearena.com is reporting that both the Diamond2 and Touch Pro2 have made it into Verizon's inventory system. They also report that they have received a tip that Sprint's launch date is 9/3.

Oh, how I would love to have my Verizon Touch Pro2 in time for my mid-September trip, but I am trying so hard not to get my hopes up.

EDIT: Not to crush anyone's hopes or dreams (including my own), but I looked it up, and the XV6800 appeared in Verizon's inventory system 3 months prior to release.

a new phone in september not gimped by vzw makes me smile and the roms released ooo I wish I had the shipped rom just to make a custom rom right now!!!

haha custom rom will do nothing, without the hardSPL, well hehe not officialy

going to have to wait until better leaks come out, and devices get out to test HSPL
