Dear Sir,
I used your latest rom (LG Fathom ROM stripped clean). I had used hard reset with factory default setting (in Start Menu > Settings > Memory) and also by key board both having same results. 2--One thing I have seen there is no GPS on off setting found neither any gps on indication on the top right corner of the screen.
Thanks for quick response for taking interest in this matter.

Re: Kitchen released

Well I am not having the problem with switch usb not working after a hard reset, but I have noticed the gps setting missing in a couple of my roms. I tracked that down - I got carried away with cleaning the Powermobia MMS out . There is a file called CDMAProp.dll in that ext folder and it needs put back into the OEMMisc folder in the kitchen. I'll correct it and reupload the EXT and OEM folders for anyone that downloads it in the future.

Edit: Fixed EXT and OEM uploaded and link in previous post fixed.

Now that makes me wonder something... I used your OEM and EXT that you uploaded earlier and build one without PowerMobia in it... and I still have a fully working GPS set on my phone. It might be a fluke (My ROM has a few other things that I've been throwing in for personal use) but It's weird that even with it excluded, it ended up on my phone.

Oh well.
I've got some more kitchen files that I'll be working on the the next week or so.

One thing that I have noticed: using the V7 SYS but the V5 OEM still results with a broken 3G connection. It's not as bad, but it still drops (Once a day verses once every few hours)

I'll keep looking into things to try and get the V5 SYS merged with the V7 one. I also want to find a way to de-verizon-ize it so that people who are using it for it's GSM radio can use it more.

Dear Sir,
Please upload a perfect and cleaned Rom i.e. (.bin file). You have just uploaded a Fathom Kitchen EXT and OEM 10-30-2011 . But I am unable to make a clean rom provided above underlined file. I have a kitchen of pizzaboy192 uploaded by him and from that I can not make a stripped rom/clean rom. I have tried to make a rom and also flashed on my lg fathom but it is just like a original v7 with v5 look. So please upload a cleaned rom with GPS working . There are three application I like in the v7 rom is photo galley, music player and advance calculator, but in your previous cleaned rom these applications are excluded.

Thanks in advance.

My GPS works too... you just can't get to the options to turn it off. The 3G connection dropping makes sense because I had to switch the Drivers folders to the v7 folders to get the 3G hotspot program working. I replaced OEMDrivers and OEMDriversHigh to get it working. Y0u might start swapping drivers to see if it makes a difference... but I bet the 3g connection "dropping" saves on battery.

Dear Sir,
I am very sorry to say that you have not uploaded your rom that is finally working. But with your help with (Fixed EXT and OEM uploaded on 30/11/2011 ) and kitchen uploaded by pizzaboy192, I got myself able to make rom about 170mb cleaned rom. I have flashed with and Now It is working very fine with a good GPS, and still I did not find any problem.
Dear Sir But I have question with you that I find. I have copied the bin folder to other drive of my computer and try to flash my phone with that address, but in flashing starting procedure the flashing software LGNPST stopped and saying magic code not found. then I stopped flashing. After that again I started with giving the actual address where built rom made by the software erviuskitchen, and my phone got flashed normally and now working fine. In this procedure I have more than ten timed flashed before.
So here I want to know what is the magic code and why this happened ?
Thanks for you people help and uploading.

Re: Kitchen released

No idea why thats happening - its LG's software... I'm glad you were able to build a rom and start building your own roms. I haven't been ignoring you or anything, I've just been really busy at work, and it doesn't look like its slowing down any time soon. But I'll try to get back to it and see if I can make EXT's out of the photo gallery, music player, and calculator from the v7 rom for you.

Re: Kitchen released

Here's something that I've noticed when flashing ROMS using the LGNPST flasher:
The files on my phone's memory (mostly in the My Documents folder) are still there after a successful ROM flash. I have a feeling that the user-writable area is a separate partition in the phone's NAND memory. It would be interesting to see how big of a ROM we can compile and successfully flash without invading the userspace partition. That way we know how much fun stuff we can bake in.
