Re: |I|6.5.5|ROM|WWE| ★ Energy Series 23547/21895 |Mar 17| ★ Sense 2.5 / 2.1 ★

I added the messaging client needed for the Sense 2.5 Roms. Messaging works if you start a message with the messaging application. However, if you select to send a text message from the choices in the contact list, there is no button to send the text once it is composed.

Phone Dialer

Has anyone had any issues with the phone dialer in the 23547 build? I cannot seem to see the CDMA network settings.

I am prepared with Drell's ROM as well as the stock one. I am asking the same from Drell, just becouse I want to know which one may be closer to something that I would like to flash and stay with.

No offense meant to either chef, and to those who work with them. I am sure the first time anyone flashed these same questions came out.

I just have no patience for inanimate objects, so if there is a glitch or failure, I tend to get upset, alot. So to save me some aggravation, wanted to know a little more of what to expect.

My last questions are regarding the hotfixes and add-ons. I don't know what they do from thier file names, so not sure which ones I will need or want. Was hoping someone might be able to explain better. If not, I will just install and see what happens.
Got it, Sorry if I came off like you didn't appreciate the ROM work. That was not my intention.

Not sure why I seem to be lucky re the clock changing issue so many seem to have, but as for the calendar apps being 3 hours diff, I was wondering if your synced to an exchange, because I am and it might explain why I ahve not the time difference issues.
Re the clock issue btw so far all nrg roms I've tried I've had to set my time zone first, as it is always defaulted to someplace far, far away.

Just installed. All looks great, except that footprints doesn't work. When I try to add, I get the GPS-Photo, which I can take, but then nothing happens. Did I miss a fix for that?

I found a lengthy workaround. If you go into your /Windows folder there should be a folder called FBContacts that has all of the contact photos linked to your profiles.

If you then link those photos to your contacts again (From the screen you get to under the "More" link under where you associate facebook) they will show up when you call. It takes like 40 seconds per contact to set it up but it's better than nothing.

Its all good Mdefren, but you wouldn't happen to know what the extra hotfixes and addons are do you? They are a little vague, and I cannot seem to find any explination of what is contained on those files.

Any chance this can get baked in on the next release?
