What's the status of your data connection? I ask because I've seen the same type of battery drain. One thing I noticed is just about every time I open COM MGR, my data connection is on. I have my email send/receive set up on a 30 min cycle and really nothing else set up to access it (except weather updates which mostly occur over an hour or two). I'm thinking either (1) my data connection isn't turning off after email syncs or (2) something else is turning it on and leaving it on. Have you noticed anything similar?

I saw a big drain for the first few days on the new rom then it got really good, better than before actually. I have my data on 24/7 and it's fine. I would find it hard to believe that would be it just from my own experience with this and my TP2. same/same

Re: New ROM VZW 3.04 Shipped

I leave my data on 24/7 also and don't have any battery problems either.
I have read that some who flashed this rom had some battery meter problems, but they worked out over a few days and battery life was better.

Here is what I did to get a clean backup without errors on 3.04 ROM...

1. Open SPB Backup
2. Select Custom Backup
3. Select All options except Storage Card (Unless there is something needed to backup from card then select only that item)
4. Click Option button to right of System Data
5. Click Customize....
6. Select Windows folder
7. Unchecked ET9MEDB folder
8. Click OK at upper right corner to save
9. Click Done
10. Click Next and continue through menus and complete backup process.

All should complete perfectly and without errors, have tested and backup was flawless.

Hope this helps...

It's the official rom directly from verizon. You don't need to download the extra RUU, it's all in 1 exe file...
