just fyi...new rom hasnt changed tbis behavior for me. i still have the htc notifications screen.

Oh NO!!!!!!! what do i do. And please don't say "hard reset"......

The only thing i added was XDA shutdown. Other than that I kept mostly everything off. the only other thing I did was get that "HTC Imagio" logo up where Verizon was. I had to add a file to my windows folder. Do you think that could be it????

is there a setting to turn that on that I don't know about??????

I do have Tsowens task bar and KD's mod. But i had that before and everything was fine. Was there a special procedure to put that on????


EDIT: Just deleted the taskbar Mod and that wasn't it

Yeah usually it's a custom taskbar that breaks that notification screen, but I haven't used that one so I can't say for sure in your case.

First off, thanks FWaits for always helping me. I just un-installed the two new things I added since the flash. Same thing. Still doesn't work.

I used that taskbar for 6 months without any problems. Not having the "notification screen" Sucks...you can't get rid of that icon telling you that you have something(unless you pull out the stylus and point to the mini icon).

hopefully someone has run into this and knows a fix...

Check the registry for the following:

HKLM\Services\NOTIFICATIONMANAGER\Flags
make sure the key is set to 0
and reboot

Can you think of anything that you installed since the rom upgrade that you never installed on the old rom, try removing those first one at a time to see which one might have made the change.

Again, thanks. but I already went through that. I actually kept most thing off. the only two things I did different were XDA shutdown & the HTC logo inplace of the "Verizon" word. I use Towens taskbar with KD update. But took all those off(except for XDA) and it still was the same.

I'm gonna un-install XDA right now. but that should have nothing to do with it. you guys all use that.

No setting anywhere that I don't remember or know about????? I never saw one. that balck screen was always there.
