Question, did this update change the SPL to .39 or did it stay .38?
Mine says SPL-0.39.0000 on the bootloader.

And can you run the previous Shipped update and it will go back to .38? I might probably wait until they have the HSPL unlock just in case...

I knew it. I extracted the official update NBH and deleted the new SPL before I run RUUupdate

Re: New ROM VZW 3.04 Shipped

Okay so I finally got this rom on my phone, and after a scare (crapped me pants thanks to sprite backup) got everything running, or so I thought. I noticed today that my push e-mail no longer works. This is a BIG problem. As my windoz button has broken, I will be getting a replacement in a couple days. That being said, I need to be absolutely sure this isn't an issue with the ROM before I flash it to the new device.

I'd love to get it fixed on my current device in the mean time. As of right now, I have double checked my active sync settings, and my peak times. I can get it to sync w/o problems by hitting send/receive in my mailbox, or hitting sync in activesync. I've done a soft-reset, etc as well. Any ideas would reallllly help me out folks!

Otherwise, I'm digging the new rom!

Re: New ROM VZW 3.04 Shipped

guys, i know i had posted earlier, but its been a week now.
i've installed all my fixes and flipped it back to cdma mode and done all my memory programs, but after a week i still have really terrible battery life. i don't think its my battery as ive switched out my main one with my backup one and i still get less than 12 hours on a full charge whereas i used to get up to two days on my phone

i've done the tricks where i've unplugged the phone and replugged it so that it fully charges, i have no idea what the problem can be. while im happy it runs faster, this poor battery life does not make up for the fixes. does anyone have any suggestions that they could make? you think reflashing would help, or even going back to stock rom?

Re: New ROM VZW 3.04 Shipped

two days on the phone - with no charge - imho is not realistic with a smartphone unless it mostly sits unused or in an unusual way (screen backlight off after 10 seconds, no data, etc.).

that said something odd is definitely happening with battery... yesterday my battery was at 80% at 8pm whereas normally it is at 50-60%. Two days prior my battery drained down to 40% in 3 hours. The day before i installed the ROM after a total wipe.

i charge all nite fwiw.

it seems stable now but i'd recommend constant on-off charging for a while to get the battery matching the indicator.

2 inboxes, 15 mins on each. the point is, the use between pre and post flash is exactly the same, and im getting drastically decreased use of my phone

Re: New ROM VZW 3.04 Shipped

understood. i'm just shocked you are checking two boxes every 15 and previously got 2 days life with no charge.

i guess you shut the phone off at night?

are you CERTAIN the phone is setup the same way for best battery life (gps off - location 911 only), cdma only, etc.?
