Install location doesn't matter. I got the same score on both device and storage. Does the score decrease after time? because im at an embarrasing 1100. maybe a program is causing this...

EDIT: I reflashed and scored 1438. Bad flash I guess

Re: I Benchmarked the Video/Performance of select roms today and found....

Great thread, thumbs up OP.

Question, I also did a series of testing for quite a few Roms and found similar results (Sprint OEM had very high stable scores with little variance between tests). I did notice though that the Roms with a higher page pool scored higher. Are all of the Roms that are being tested using the same page pool? I think this should be included in the test results because it seems to make a difference.

PS: Holy crap, JDs Roms are on Roid Rage..lol!

I found about the same. I thought I saw that thread before. I started this one with all the hoopla about updated video drivers. I just wanted to know... But yes, JD strips out all the "slowdown" my rom rom bs.

Re: I Benchmarked the Video/Performance of select roms today and found....

In the very limited series of evaluations that I ran, I didn't see an appreciable difference between the roms that I used. In this group of roms, the difference from top to bottom was less than 5%.

I was quite surprised, because I had always percieved that JD's roms were much, much faster than anything else out there.

Best regards,
-boggsie

This is probably because AFICS none of those ROMs even contain the ATI driver... at least their respective ROM pages say nothing about it.

I would like to see a comparison with NFSMan's rom who claims to have the driver. I personally see a noticeable difference in this rom.
