I Benchmarked the Video/Performance of select roms today and found.... - Page 5

I tested GhettoFreeRyders, NexVision, and JD's Hybrid and got the following results:

NextVision's: 1438
GhettoFreeRyders: 1439
JD's Hybrid: 1499

In each case I tested after synchronizing with activesync and settting up my Mobile Email push client.

JD's is definitely the fastest with the following results:
Test1: 1299
Test2: 1344
Test3: 2621
Test4: 1190
Test5: 1042

Final Score: 1499

Your not gonna count that "2621" are you? The top end of the Vogue is "1500" with this particular test unless you have memory problems and it doesn't run correctly....

I think he was showing what he had in all 5 test that the benchmark is based on, and the average of those 5 test was 1499. that is just my guess tho.

I tried testing it on my mogul, it said not enough memory. same problem when i tried updating my .NET framework to 3.5. im running NO2Chems windows mobile 6.1 vs 5060. Any help ??

I really appreciate the cab! While it was undoubtedly safe, the exe I downloaded set off a couple of hidden install alarms in my anti-spyware program.

This app is pretty much a memory hog. I'm not sure the mogul can handle it with a tricked out rom. You may ask no2chem or ask in his forum. I'm sure there is a way...

So, I think it is safe to presume that a fully-loaded ROM, with ActiveSync and Microsoft Live both doing push, a weather program pulling updates and an RSS reader, polling for updates ... are all going to impact performance!

It's an interesting question, though: Do you want to know how well your device is capable of performing, with a bare-boned ROM (not particularly useful) or loaded up as you would use it on a daily basis?

I've done the "as downloaded". Now, how about some scores on how you run your rom, and whose rom and maybee what you've added.
