Re: Force Roam in new Sprint ROM
One thing that is worth mentioning is that if you select "Roaming Only" Sprint Mobile to Mobile minutes don't work anymore; they come off you plan minutes instead. I found this out the hard way.
Also, has anyone noticed that GrandCentral Mobile Click2Call doesn't work with Sprint towers, but it does when I use Roaming Only??? Does Sprint block the use of Click2Call? |

Re: Force Roam in new Sprint ROM
Could someone help me out. I have the CAB file (_setup and ENABLE~1) and put it on my Touch and when I click on setup it opens in Internet Explorer....It shows all the files but it is in a Internet Explorer window and nothing happens. I have the stock 6.1 roam and nothing else loaded at this time except the stock stuff. What the heck am I doing wrong?
Thanks!! |

Re: Force Roam in new Sprint ROM
Don't know if this way has been mentioned yet if it has sorry if not this is another way of doing it with no reg edits or cab installs.
Also should mention this works on both my Mogul and Touch so I dont think its Rom specific. Sprint: 1. Dial ##778# 2. Edit. 3. Enter MSL# as password. 4. Bottom left click "View info" 5. Select "Modem Settings" 6. Then Hold on "Preferred Serving System" and select edit. 7. Select "Roaming Only" 8. follow on screen prompts.
