Re: Known Verizon Issue with cracked outer casing

Tony, that is the same company that I emailed, they DO have the CDMA housings. You should email them quick and tell them you maybe ordered the wrong one you need the CDMA housing, and they should get you the right one, maybe you'll even get the better price (CDMA housing from them had a higher cost).
They emailed me back within a day, so hopefully they haven't already put it in the mail

Re: Known Verizon Issue with cracked outer casing

The alltel housing arrived very quickly, rubberized!!! Yay!!! I installed it Sunday night, and it looks awesome!
SO much better than the ugly white hard plastic. It came with a new digitizer too, which works much better than my old one. I'll post some install shots in a couple days. If I had a cracked housing, this would've resolved it.

Re: Known Verizon Issue with cracked outer casing

I had the same problem with the cracked case. Mine cracked on the front top by the speaker and on the right side (stylus side). Im in kalispell montana and the verizon store here never heard of any kind of problems with it. But i was lucky enough to talk to their service guy and he had a new updated phone sent out 2 days later for free. THere is no backing or anything, its just the phone, and the void sticker is already removed. He said it has the new gps rev and wm 6.1, messin with it now. Good luck to me and evryone else that has to deal with vzw.

When you changed your case did you have any trouble with your task bar, ( Not being able to open the speaker, or item in the task bar). or with aligning the screen, mine seems to be messed up. I cant get nothing to open in the task bar. the sensitivity is not quite as sensitive

Re: Known Verizon Issue with cracked outer casing

Tony, the new screen was already attached to the front cover, and it works good, no issues at all...

On the old screen, the bottom left corner didn't work at all... it was because some of the glue that holds the screen to the case had gotten in between the layers of the screen.

You might be able to get away with just pulling the two layers of the screen apart and cleaning it, or you can try just detaching the top edge of the screen from the casing, and then see if you can get to the top task bar...

Good luck!

Re: Known Verizon Issue with cracked outer casing

Hey Jesse
I had to switch back to my old digitizer, there was something different with the new one, but it works just fine with my old one.
