Known Verizon Issue with cracked outer casing - Page 24

Add me to the list. I think I might have set a record for fastest phone to crack. Just received it last night, woke up this morning to find a crack to the right of their ear piece...smh

Mine took a lil while, and it's in the middle on the camera button side. :/
I'm waiting for my new screen to be shipped to me so I can put on my gsm housing. It's taking forever for my screen to get here.

You can add me to the list as well... My original phone had no cracks. My replacement/refurb (original one had antenna failure) one started to show a crack through the ear-piece only 2 months after getting it.

My first phone developed 5 cracks before I replaced it. The replacement has two and is working on a third crack...

So far, after a month and a half, my xv6900 has no cracks. I'm hoping it stays this way. I take great care of it, but I know that doesn't really matter. So, why is white plastic so crappy?

my red rubberized alltel case has just developed a crack, 2/3rds of the way down the right edge of the screen.
I guess it isn't just the vzw cases that crack!

i was reading all the post about the cracks i have upgraded now to the omnia but sure enough my phone had those same cracks never noticed it because i had the grey one from alltel ........ which sucks i could of got a new phone, sold it because i was sick of that one anyway and upgraded should of been up here earlier !!!

i went to verizon 4 days ago about my cracked vogue and they said i would have to file a claim with asurion because it wasnt a known issue. they considered it "physical damage".and i told them i was still in my 30 trial period, but they didnt help me

today i get a call from a verizon quality assurance, he said that it is now a known issue and they will replace it. so if you go to the store and they tell you its not there full of sh**=D>

I have had mine for 7 months without a crack.... But then looked at it the the other day and by the microsd side I though I had so gunk on it. After inspecting it carefully, I noticed a white flake on my screen.....the case is actually pealing. I haven't taken it to VZ yet to see what they say.

i had my verizon vogue for a month and a half now and had no cracks. But on the other hand i loved the rubberized Alltel case better so i just said to heck with it. The white one was too darn slick for me so i just disected it and changed the case on it to my old Alltel one. Works great and no problems at all... the rubberized cases are soo much better overall. HTC shouldnt have gone to the slick cases. Oh well.
