Re: Good vs Bad screens (pictures + videos of both)
Hi all. I went to my local repair store and showed them my phone and explained the whole screen issue. I told him that I have a friend with the same phone and same service but his screen is like the mogul screen and has a great view angle to it. The guy looked at it and said that he does see the problem but this store does not do repairs no more. He said to take it to another Sprint store that does have a technician and they will have a software update or maybe change my screen. So I got happy and headed over to the repair store and told him what the other store told me and the guy over the counter looked at me and said he sees no problem with my screen. He showed the phone to another employee (girl) and she said "Nope there is nothing wrong with it.". I explained the whole issue to him and asked him why does my friends Touch have a better screen similar to the Moguls screen. He said that the Mogul has a LCD screen. So I asked him what does the Touch have and he could not answer it. LOL. So ... I will head over to another repair facility since a lot of people here have said that every repair facility has different morons working there and that its just a luck of the draw in finding a place that knows what they are doing. Wish me luck, I will head over to another Sprint Repair Store this afternoon.

Yes, I would not be surprised if they told me it was plasma. So.... I am back from the 3rd store. They told me its a filter film thats causing this. I asked why some Sprint Touches do have a better screen and they said that they have never seen a better screen on these. So they said to bring my friends Touch with the better screen so they could see the difference. Personally I dont know anyone , so looks like I am screwed.Unless I keep going to the next and the next repair store until I find one that understands. Goddam.

Re: Good vs Bad screens (pictures + videos of both)
it sounds like everyone has a different subjective view of "good" or "bad" screens and viewing angles based on their own eyes. i dont think hounding every sprint store is going to get you anywhere when its still a toss up whether you'll get one thats a little better or worse. What irks me here is dont you people have jobs other than driving around to sprint stores? Some of you seem like its a constant hobby trolling Sprint stores checking out Touch's. Is it REALLY worth it in the end at $4/gallon for gas? If its that big an issue return/sell the phone and get something else. At best youll waste a bunch of gas money and have a slim but completely random change of getting anything better.

Is $50 really worth it? $100? $150? Or just sell it on ebay, take the $50-100 or whatever of gas and grief and get a new device that suits your specifications of quality. Because odds are there are numerous people here who will never be happy with the one they get... Its just like the hit or miss Moguls that some people exchange 5-6-7-8 times. Its silly, why waste all that gas money and grief over such minor things. if its not up to your personal standards get a different brand of phone- theres no promises a store will even get in a "good" quality screen one. and i dont blame them for not wanting to fiddle through their whole stock of phone to find one you approve of since its not the stores fault to waste their time or power on every phone in their stock.
