Re: Anyone using iGO 8

Here's the files for Ultra Skin 4.1 (Best skin in my opinion) (Enables more options in options too)

iGO8 Ultra 4.1.zip - Copy this to \Storage Card\iGO8\content\skins\ (Don't unzip)
Audio_US_English.zip - Extract and copy audio folder to \Storage Card\iGO8\
BTOnOff.zip - Extract and place the .exe in \Program Files\iGO8\ (Not storage card)

Also, thanks to the two guys who posted sys.txt files, couldn't find your posts to press Thanks

If anyone who has TTS working, can you please post your iGO version number and any info on how you got TTS working?! Thanks
Attached Files
File Type: zip iGO8_Ultra_4.1.zip (324.3 KB, 122 views) Click for barcode!
File Type: zip Audio_US_English.zip (1.63 MB, 100 views) Click for barcode!
File Type: zip BTOnOff.zip (3.1 KB, 74 views) Click for barcode!

The POI fix above works great, many thanks. I'm running TTS Susan voice with no problems, Igo8 V. 8.0.0.44344 (June 24). No special instructions on the install, probably the voice files you have dont have TTS. Send me a PM to remind me to pass on the link for the High Quality TTS Susan voice (Think I also have a TTS Males voice)

Re: Anyone using iGO 8

I would appreciate the pointer as well. I had the Susan voice working in the March release, but cannot get it to work in the June 24 release.

Re: Anyone using iGO 8

This may be old news, but I thought I would share it anyway. Below is a link to an awesome site with several skins as well as new colormaps. I have tried several of the colormaps and I must say they are very nice work. The new one for the night mode is very nice. It makes the divice look like the terrian is lit by the moon. Very nice. Go have a look and try some of these. Instructions to install are posted on the right side of the page. Two thumbs up for this site!

Re: Anyone using iGO 8

I have tried IGO 8 and i do like except for it takes over the entire phone and it does not use BT audio ( i have BT Car steareo ) wich for me is important as i can hear the GPS through my steareo wen im driving...

if anyone got this working please let us know as these 2 reasons is why i went back to TOMTOM.

I also like Garmin very much but it seems i cant get it to work with any other BT GPS device other then a garmin one

Yes, I had to Google it too... People (on PPCunderground) claim that the abbreviation handling has not been fixed (i.e. SW is still software) yet.

Re: Anyone using iGO 8

@rgildoss - iGo8 works fine with my BT (Moto T505). I didn't have to do anything special to make it work.

@Obviousman - You can correct pronunciations by editing the SusanTT.lex file, found under ttsloq\EnglishUs\Susan
