the thing that cracks me up is the fact that we can run linux on our windows mobile phones but we still cannot fully sync our phones with most linux disrtibutions.

It actually boots from winmo into a complely new os with completely new possibilities like google streetview and 100's of apps to play with in the marketplace

Here are some tips to keep your 'Roided Vogue running all day:

-if you don't need data, disconnect using Togga. The gmail and email push services suck up juice
-in your 'default.txt' change "pm.sleep_mode" to "0"
-go to the Marketplace and download the "Power Management" app. If you don't want to pay for the updated version, you can download the FREE version from dudes' website

From my experience, these really helped the battery life on my phone.

Yep, all the apps are available. However, if the app uses gps, bluetooth, or the accelerometer, chances are it will not work. Before you have the option to install, you'll be prompted with a screen explaining what parts of the phone the app will access.


On that note, i've reached capacity in terms of storage space. Is there a way to make more room for the Android OS? And by room I mean the Marketplace stuff and other things that would be saved in that data img file...

i can't install power manager. the new one quits and the old one doesn't show with the apps icons. i check the apps manager and it says "still computing."

i can only get slide market place to work i cant get the actual android one to work.,.. anyone know how to fix this? also does anyone know where to find chompsms.apk?

Help, big time help. After installing the latest cupcake and running it (awesome by the way!!) I soft reset the device to go back into WM 6.1 (USCC). After the reboot, almost all my third party apps tell me "The file "fill in name here" cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate or one of its components can not be found. If the problem persists, try reinstalling or restoring the file." Why did this happen? How to I fix?
I also installed via an installer, and it will not install. Is there a memory requirement?

I know this is going to sound dumb.
But is anyone having trouble with the onscreen keyboard?
I updated all the files to 1.1 and the new dzo stuff
and now my keyboard covers my text so i can't see what i am typing.
kind of bothersome. any clues?
