I just went directly to dzo's site, put his 1.1 stuff in the root of my SD card, edited the default.txt and I was good to go.

I did not run the cabs either, just unzipped and copied to the SD card. What did you edit in the default.txt?

I'll clean out the old android stuff and try it again.

Well first I think I copied the default-vogue.txt file into default.txt as a starting point. From there, I just changed the username/password stuff and then set the display-panel something-or-other to "3".

DZO just fixed the headset issue. Download this new zImage and replace your old one with it and BAM crystal clear stereo headset audio. Just tried it, works GREAT. Thanks again DZO! REMEMBER, this is just the zImage, DO NOT DELETE ANYTHING ELSE.

Any way to add the youtube app and market app to the latest cupcake version? Or add the foobar keyboard and better dialer fro the cupcake version to the latest release?

Go into default.txt and there will be something about the screen size. like "mddi.width=312 mddi.height=416" I wish I could be more specific but I don't have the information in front of me.

Has anyone figured anything out about the battery life draining issue with android? I love using android, but the phone ends up giving me the "plug into charger" notification at around 2 pm everyday.. If anyone knows anything that might give a little boost of battery life i would appreciate it! Thanks

ive been reading this thread and as good as android / linux looks i just can't see putting it on my touch vogue. i mean this is nothing more than an application you run from within windows. maybe if we could flash a rom with it, id give it a try maybe?

the thing that cracks me up is the fact that we can run linux on our windows mobile phones but we still cannot fully sync our phones with most linux disrtibutions.

xda doesn't help very much at times.
