Can anybody help me? Android just freezes when I go into the dialer I think it has to do with my username and password. My carrier is Telus, how would I get my login details?

just go to his site. under "latest files" or whatever with 1.0 sdk. the most recent post he made with a link was simply a link to all of the package installation files.

ive always been a little fuzzy with all the carrier username and password stuff. best advice i've heard is give telus a call.
still though, this should not be causing android to freeze...maybe try re-downloading and copying all the files again? be sure to delete any file called system or data in the root of your card if you choose to start over.

Yup just reinstalled and the dialer is working now! I'll try giving telus a call a little later.

where do i unzip the files on the SD card?

I had a installation of Android before that was a CAB installation, and it put files in the /storagecard/Program Files/Android

do I just unzip in there, and overwrite?

i unzipped the Android-new into the directory, and ran haret, and its working

so ... now ... what do i do? (refering to apk) files

when you download them be sure to do so saving them as .apk files. then just follow dzo's directions (put them in a foder called AndroidApps on your sd and you're all set!)

it seems to take a really long time to load ... hmmmz
