great thought, but i flashed the bell rom and reflashed back. i now have the 3.42.50 radio, but still no data...could it be a problem in my default.txt file used to boot it?

From the looks of it, with dzo being in charge, it may be quite another little while here. Simply because he has yet to move to the full anroid "final" release source code because the maps application does not work when using it.

Same way as in wm. Add them to your card. Then boot up android, go to pictures/music, and there they will be.

Yes it is kind of similar to the marketplace, although clearly not as sophisticated/functional right now.
Not sure what other info to give right now lol.

Shouldn't have anything to do w/ your default.txt. You should have a compltely unmodified default.txt exactly like the one on his website. Try redownloading everything. That's definitely a strange issue. Maybe you could try passing your issues on to dzo.

Sounds like you installed something wrong. Did you modify any of the files? Re-read through the entire first post.

Everyone be sure to visit the OP and read through the troubleshooting thing and just the entire post before posting w/ problems. I'm not saying that you aren't....I'm just putting this here just in case.

Re: Android For The Vogue Is Here!!!

Ok .. i tried tiger's easy cab... i get the andriod robot loader then the menu and it asks to click menu to get out of screen lock.. then it goes back to the robot loader and then shuts down my touch..

I also tried the actual files from nz/vogue and it loads androd but gets stuck on the ANDROID loading screen without the robot..

Both times, i made sure to clean out memory card and do over as well as soft reset, and turning off gps... HELP!!

older version worked on my touch before.. what is going on now!!

thanks for point out the post, but I did try to doing in two different methods!
1. but install the cab file.
2. unzip the folder under my SD and run it.

both ways give me the same view. everything over size like when I try to make a call all the numbers over labs, the text in the top not in place..

this is the issues I'm having

Same issue here, I think. I'm no expert, but I read somewhere that the interface appears crowded on devices like the HTC Vogue due to the screen size relative to the G1. Seems like it should scale down relative to screen size, but it doesn't appear to on my device at least. Perhaps I'm not doing something right either.

Re: Android For The Vogue Is Here!!!

The screen doesn't scale. Someone was working on a new dialer to make things look better but i dont know where that integration is at in terms of widescale release.

rhk107, what key are you using to unlock the screen? Volume Slider down? thats what you should be using.

Re: Android For The Vogue Is Here!!!

Yes, per Dzo's post, here is the list of updates:
"I've just put a new build on the website, this mounts the filesystems as ext2 with noatime. Hopefully this will cause less wear on the card.
There are a few minor changes to the kernel too. Power collapse has a flashing red led now. The soft keyboard only vibrates for a fixed time now.
Still no working camera yet, the driver is in the git repo if anyone wants to play with it though.
The system image is read only now so patching the RIL and keymap won't work any more.
If you already have a data.img don't put data.gz on your card or it will erase your settings.
default.txt now sets the memory size to 128M, haret was only detecting 112M before.
The ram console now lives at physical address 0xe0000, so to get a debug log do "pwf dmesg 0xe0000 0x20000" in haret.
enjoy,"
